How can we get lost?

 Spent the day on the train, made all the connections with ease. The Eurail pass is working well with the exception of not explaining the gate you need to be at. In Berlin this is the first time we have had the train doors be even with the platform.  This is great Dan doesn’t have to load both bags.  He claims he doesn’t need to build his upper body strength any more. 

So we arrived in Berlin the last train connection which was a local actually when smoothly. Then the problems begin. The hotel is a 3 min walk from the train. This becomes the longest 3 minutes ever.  The address is 99 frederickstrassa. We get off the train on Frederickstrassa and see number 100.  This is great. I ask Dan right or left. He says left.  The next number is 132. No problem we have only gone 1 short block.  Double back no hotel. Go one more block no numbers or hotel.  Time to take out Mr Google and map us to the hotel that is 3 minutes away.  Around the block and in a back alley we locate the hotel. I think it only took us 45 minutes 

Yes the hotel is 3 minutes from the train station down a side street. This hotel seems to be our nicest one so far. Extremely friendly front desk staff with perfect English this is terrific since I have no German and Dan’s is so old he is lucky to understand anything.  The hotel seems to be a Spanish holding. The TV is a little different in you can choose your language Spanish or German and the stations pop up based on that decision. The bathroom is amazing and we have a window that opens but then the air conditioning goes off. Just a small inconvenience.   Will finish up with more later
