Today was really a free day. Many options, botanical garden ( there are 3), side trip to Darmstadt to have lunch and see Frankenstein's castle, side trip to Rudestein. According to to Gina's sister this is a great town full of good wine tasting rooms. Laurie (Gina's sister)is out of town or we probably would have spent our day with her. Sunday we were planning a river cruise and 2 castles and timing was extremely tight. I thought maybe we should get one castle in today. Will complete blog entry later but we walked up the hill!
Ugh! Makes me remember the hike up the hill in Assisi to the old fortress.
